Jake and I started off the afternoon in earnest, awaking slightly after noon and indulging in the first two meals of the day within 4 hours of slipping out of our sheets. Using the night we had planned as enough reason to shut the doors and open the window shades in the kitchen, we got our first song recorded and mostly-mixed before dinnertime.
Thanks to awesome parties like Ben Cox's Tokyo Destruction Party, we didn't have to drive too far north to run into some sort of shenanigans. After the grand tour, and some organic beers after that, I was glad to find the restroom clearly marked and free of too many beer cans. I honestly would not expect anything less from a guy like Ben.
Never underestimate the enthusiasm of a handful of halfway-buzzed nerds with homemade animal costumes.
Halloween happens for real tonight after pumpkin carving and chile relleno cooking, and my shit is tighter than George Michael's levis in that one video. You know what I mean.
